Barbara BetheaMy name is Barbara Bethea. I was an ESL, Spanish, and bilingual Special Education Teacher for many years. Reading, traveling, learning languages, and working with immigrants and incarcerated individuals are some of my interests. Since 1990 my husband and I have been Ossining residents. We very much enjoy living in a river town. I joined the church in 2010. I have enjoyed helping out in our church store and being a lay reader. It’s very special being part of this church family.

Alexis CullenMy name is Alexis Nieto Cullen and my pronouns are she/her. I am a front-line medical professional who has been attending Trinity Campus since childhood. I have celebrated the sacraments of First Communion, Confirmation, and Matrimony within its walls and most recently the Baptism of my now 7 year old son, Tony. I’m at the end of a consecutive term on the Vestry and an active member of the choir. I am a member of the LGBTQ community and believe in activism, on a community level as well as a national level. I’m a Taurus, a Slytherin, a gourmand, and a bit of a klutz! My partner Jim and I love to host game nights with our friends and build Lego with Tony.

Jo Ann McGrath, Co-ChairGrandparents, parents, children and grandchildren were all born and raised in Ossining. And although I was not born in Ossining, I have lived here since I was two! Most people would call me a townie. I take that as a compliment! I, like many other citizens of this diverse town nestled along the eastern shore of the Hudson River, have chosen to make my home here because of all that it offers -especially its rich cultural, racial and economic diversity. As an active member of St. Paul’s on the Hill Episcopal Church (now Grace Episcopal Church) for the past 20 years, I am pleased to have served the church as warden (2X), vestry, altar guild , finance, visioning and now search committee. I am a retired MS and HS science teacher who is happiest when with my family or on a beach…. anywhere!

Darryl MoyI’m Darryl Moy, originally from the Chicago-area, moving to Ossining in 1985 to be with my then future wife. We were welcomed into the St. Paul’s community when looking for a church to be married in (1986) and have been here ever since. I’ve served St. Paul’s in several capacities, including vestry member, warden (more than once), finance and search committees, and organize the annual wreath fundraiser and Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras dinner. I’m mostly retired, having careers in corporate fitness, pharmaceuticals, medical education, and medical marketing. I love the outdoors and truly enjoy the Hudson River Valley and beyond, as an avid hiker, cyclist, and kayaker. I’m a board member of the Ossining Children’s Center (since 2007). And I’m probably best known for my love of cooking, having hosted Chinese banquets for fundraisers and taught a Chinese cooking class for several years before Covid.

Cecilia QuinteroI am finishing my second term on Vestry and was honored to witness so many historic events during my tenure. As a Board member of the Ossining Public Library, I am proud of the robust, diverse and inclusive collections, programming and services that the staff offers our visitors. I enjoyed my work as a Human Resources professional in Broadcasting earlier in my career and am so pleased to be part of this search for a new priest for Grace Episcopal Church. Our family has lived in Ossining since 1990 and our daughter, Zoe, really loved growing up in this Historic Hudson Valley town. I started the TBC Book Club 19 years ago and really value the traditions and loyal membership which has evolved during our time together. My husband, Dennis, is my favorite partner in crime as we love to try to outwit our parish friends at our annual Trivia games which started during COVID in 2020. Looking forward to meeting you and beginning this exciting new chapter for Grace Church!

Melanie RoweHello, my name is Melanie Rowe and I have been a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for over 57 years … yikes, where did the time go! I was married at St. Paul’s and also raised my children there. I have been a member of two Search Committees, a junior warden, a senior warden and a member of the Altar Guild for many years with a group of wonderful ladies affectionately known as the “altar angels.” After our Sunday service, we have a coffee hour .. coffee and goodies seem to open up wonderful conversations. I have been very fortunate to make wonderful friends over the years at St. Paul’s. In our current process of searching for a new priest, I could honestly say that we would welcome our new priest with open minds and arms. Thank you.

Richard Shaw, Co-ChairMy name is Richard Shaw. I am a Client Advisor at a large Wealth Management firm. Some of my interests include reading, traveling, triathlons, scuba diving, and skiing. My wife and I were married in the church in 1997, and we joined shortly after. We moved to Ossining in 2004 and raised our two children in the community. What I enjoy most about our church is our fellowship and community.

Ed ShultzI have been a resident of Ossining and a member of Grace Episcopal Church (Trinity Campus) since 2015. I was drawn to this church due to its diversity, active presence in the community, and the warmth of its clergy and congregation.
Over the past six years I have served on the Vestry and volunteered with the Food Pantry, Social Justice Mission Committee, Ossining Emergency Shelter Program, and our Organic Community Garden. I work primarily in the non-profit sector as a Vocational Counselor and Work Skills Instructor for people with disabilities and other obstacles to employment. On weekends I volunteer with Stash the Trash Ossining, organizing weekly cleanups in the village. In our spare time my family and I enjoy walking the waterfront, shopping on Main Street, and hiking the trails and preserves of our Village.
